PAC 12110
POST 12110 ACTION CORPS
Post 12110 Action Corps members help influence the passage or defeat of legislation based on the VFW’s priority goals by visiting and writing elected officials.
THE PAC MISSION:
- To inform and educate members and supporters on initiatives and policies that affect veterans.
- To communicate and promote the VFW viewpoint before the Columbus City Council, Georgia General Assembly and the United States Congress.
- To encourage greater grassroots participation in the democratic process through increased communication with elected officials.
The Post 12110 Action Corps relies on its members to establish and maintain a relationship with their Local, State and National elected officials, as well as to keep their lawmakers informed about key veterans issues and educate them on VFW’s legislative agenda. The Post Legislative Committee supervises the PAC program. The PLC also works with our VFW Department of Georgia and our National Legislative Committees to help carry out the VFW legislative agenda.
